After a meeting we head to a medieval fortress located on a hill overlooking the city of Split. The fortress is around 12km from the center of Split.
During the tour of Klis Fortress, you can learn about the history of the fortress and how it was used as a strategic stronghold by various empires, including the Ottomans and Venetians. You can also enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
After the tour at the fortress we head back to Split and visit the Diocletian Palace, one of the most impressive ancient ruins in the world. We will explore its stunning architecture, including the Peristyle, Temple of Jupiter, Cathedral of St. Domnius, and the Riva promenade.
Our tour will end around noon which is a perfect time for lunch. If you order in advance we can make a reservation for you at a local cafe or restaurant to enjoy local food or drinks.

We will meet at Trumbiceva obala 11 in the center of Split at 8,30h. From there we are going to drive directly to the fortress of Klis.
At 9,00 h we will reach fortress of Klis where during the tour you can learn about the history of the fortress and how it was used as a strategic stronghold by various empires, including the Ottomans and Venetians. You can also enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Sightseeing of the fortress will last for 1,30 h. After the fortress we head to the Diocletian’s palace.
We reach the palace, which is one of the most impressive ancient ruins in the world, at around 11,00 h. We will explore its stunning architecture, including the Peristyle, Temple of Jupiter, Cathedral of St. Domnius, Basements of Palace and the Riva promenade for 1,30 h.
Our tour will finish at 12, 30 h which is the ideal time for lunch. If the group desired we will organize lunch with traditional Dalmatian food and drinks.
